Do Bee's Hibernate?

This is a question we get asked alot. People assume bees hibernate or migrate but the fact is, honey bees do not. Once the temperatures begin to drop, we get them ready for the winter. We take our honey supers (boxes) off and leave their honey stores and we help them by insulating the hives. Here is a great link that shares what honey bees do through the winter!
